Wu Chen Mei; In 1998 wrote an essay entitled “Regrets” which was published in a book. The story was partly her true story about how her grandpa didn’t buy his medicine so he could have enough money to send her to school but then he died. Several months later, Wu Chen Mei was invited to a very special award presentation on Children’s Day in Zhengzhou where she was acclaimed as one of the few leading students in all of Zhengzhou (an area with a population of about 3 million people). At the presentation she gave a powerful speech of thanksgiving.
Jane was invited to be a guest on a talk show called Henan and the World. The topic of discussion was education.
